About Us
Sifu John Cho
Sifu John Cho studied Long Fist Kung Fu under masters Lin Jun-Pai and Shen Mou-Hui. He went on to open and operate his own Kung Fu school in Fresno, California, where he taught for over 30 years. From this tradition, he is developing the Cho Family System — a comprehensive curriculum of 8 Animal Sets, 8 Classical Weapons, and the 8 Sticks Program.

Instructor Vien Ngo
Vien Ngo is a 4th-degree black belt in Kendo. In 2018, he began his Musha Shugyo — a martial pilgrimage — expanding his training into Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and eventually Long Fist Kung Fu under Sifu Cho. Recognizing his dedication, Sifu Cho appointed Vien as the lead instructor of the Chinese Stick Fighting Program, carrying forward the system into its next generation.

“I found the Chinese Stick Fighting Program to be both practical, and thought provoking. The teaching sessions were run in a welcoming, and open atmosphere where I felt that I could really take ownership of the lessons. The program would be great for someone who wants to learn a new skill or use the program’s techniques to enhance their existing knowledge of weapon tactics. I highly recommend the Chinese Stick Fighting Program.”
